Lino Rulli hosts 'The Catholic Guy', an entertaining daily radio show heard Monday through Friday, 4-7pm EST, across North America on SiriusXM Satellite Radio. In addition to hosting 'The Catholic Guy', he hosts the weekly radio show 'Lino at Large', funded by the USCCB.
He has also worked in television since 1998 and the 3-time Emmy award winner has won most of the nation's top awards in journalism. For his work on "Generation Cross", a Catholic comedy show, Lino was was the first person to win an Emmy Award for hosting Catholic programming since Archbishop Fulton Sheen.
He was Co-Executive Producer on 'The Last Flagraiser' - a World War II documentary commemorating the 60th anniversary of the flag raising on Iwo Jima - which aired nationally on CBS. He is part of a team whose credits include: Dateline NBC, CBS Evening News, The Food Network, Animal Planet, US Conference of Catholic Bishops, Catholic Charities USA, among others. Lino also produced "Champions of Faith" - a Major League Baseball film featuring All Stars, World Series Champs, and Faith.
He is a popular speaker who has traveled nationally and internationally for Theology on Tap, Legatus, The Catholic Press Association, Atlanta's Eucharistic Congress, among others. He was also one of the MC's for Kelly Clarkson, Matt Maher, Third Day (and more) in front of 25,000 young people for Pope Benedict XVI's Youth Rally in Yonkers, New York.
His talks include topics such as Catholics and the Media, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, living a Catholic life in a secular world, John Paul II (whom he met in 1999), and Benedict XVI. Lino's stories - and love for the Faith - always inform and entertain.
