Luke Burgis is the Entrepreneur-in-Residence at The Catholic University of America (Busch School of Business and Economics). Luke founded and led three multi-million dollar companies in Silicon Valley and is currently the Director of ActivPrayer and Inscape, two organizations that bring an entrepreneurial approach to serving the Church. He earned a degree in Finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University and a degree in Sacred Theology from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome.

Luke Burgis is Entrepreneur-in-Residence at The Catholic University of America's Ciocca Center for Principled Entrerpeneurship. He is the founder of three successful startups in Silicon Valley and was named one of the “Top 25 Entrepreneur Under 25” in 2006 by Business Week. He left behind a successful company to enter seminary formation for the Diocese of Las Vegas, where he spent three years studying in Rome at the Pontifical North American College before fully embracing his calling as an entrepreneur.

Luke is currently the Co-Founder of ActivPrayer, a company dedicated to making sports and fitness truly serve the human person, and the Co-Founder & Executive Director of Inscape, a ministry that helps young people discover, embrace, and live out their unique, personal vocations.

Luke’s work has appeared in America, the Wall Street Journal, and Forbes, among others. He has a B.S. from the Stern School of Business at New York University and an S.T.B. in Sacred Theology from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross. 

Luke is the co-author of Unrepeatable: Cultivating the Unique Calling of Every Person (Emmaus Road, April 2018), which offers a person-centric approach to building a culture of vocation in our schools, parishes, homes, and businesses. He also blogs about faith, creativity, and culture.
