Anthony J. Buono has been working in the field of courtship and marriage since 1994, after graduating from Catholic Distance University in the Pontifical Catechetical Program and obtained a diploma from the Congregation for the Clergy with a concentration in Marriage Theology. 

In 1998, he founded the popular Catholic online dating service AveMariaSingles.com for committed, devout, single Catholics called to marriage who are actively seeking to meet their future spouse.   His vast experience working with thousands of single Catholic men and women has inspired him to reach out to help in the formation of singles for the dating process and marriage through his television and radio programs, Road To Cana and through his writings on his blog, 6 Stone Jars.com.  He continues to seek ways to fill the need of formation and preparation for those called to the marriage vocation.  Presently, he is working on two books on the subject of Catholic dating.

In 1993, he graduated from Thomas Edison State College with a B.A. in Humanities with a concentration in Communications and Theology. Anthony received his Catechicetical Diploma from the Congregation for the Clergy through Catholic Distance University in Virginia in 1993.  He also graduated from Thomas Edison State College in 1995.  He presently resides in Virginia with his wife and seven children.
