"NFL Wide-Receiver"

Travels from: New Orleans, LA

Chris Horn’s journey to the NFL is one of obstacles overcome by determination guided by God’s gentle providence.  Chris was born and raised in a small town in Idaho; he is the second of five children.

He attended Notus high school where he played eight-man football.  Chris went on to graduate from Rocky Mountain College, a small NAIA college located in Billings, Montana.  Discovering he had the ability to play in the NFL, Chris set out to accomplish his boyhood dream.

Chris’s professional football career began with the Billings Thunderbolts of the Indoor Football League.  Next, he played for the Arizona Rattlers of the Arena Football League.  Chris’s success in the Arena Football League quickly caught the attention of several NFL teams.

In 2003 he signed his first NFL contract with the Kansas City Chiefs and became the only player in the history of his high school and college to play in the NFL.  Chris spent three seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs scoring an NFL touchdown and excelling in special teams.  During his time with the Chiefs, Chris was sent to NFL Europe to further prove he belonged on the NFL stage and played for the Amsterdam Admirals.

Chris believes one of the greatest honors of his professional career, was being selected special teams captain in the final game of the legendary Dick Vermeil’s NFL coaching career.  After his time with the Chiefs, Chris went on to play for the New Orleans Saints and the Carolina Panthers of the NFL.

Chris is now married; he and his wife Amy have two children, Christopher and Frances.  Chris is a devoted Catholic, husband, father, and athlete.  He speaks nationally about his faith and journey.
