Jesus did not call his followers to strive for mediocrity; He didn’t ask them to give up some of their major sins and follow Him if it wasn’t too big of an inconvenience. Jesus Christ called all men and women to follow Him, and to do so radically – giving up everything, putting everything on the line!! Dan DeMatte, a slave to His Master Jesus Christ, serves in like manner, calling men and women of today to a radical holiness – A holiness that produces saints, not mere mediocre Catholics.

Dan DeMatte is a motivational speaker who has realized that there is truly no dream worth living for other than the dream of heaven. He preaches the GOOD News, not the mediocre news, or the ‘I-hope-this-isn’t-too-big-of-an-inconvenience’ news. Dan knows that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only message worth living for, and worth dying for!

Dan witnessed to his radical lifestyle when he starred on A&E’s hit reality TV show, God or the Girl. The show captured Dan’s intense discernment process between the priesthood and the married life, along with three other men. In his discernment, Dan carried an 80lb cross on a 22 mile pilgrimage in order to better unite himself to the cross of Christ – the center of all vocations and the core of the Christian life. After discerning his call for three years, he heard the Lord calling him to the married life – God through the Girl as he puts it. Dan is happily married to Amber Marie. They have recently brought their first beautiful baby into this world, Sophia Therese.  

As a speaker and evangelist, Dan is very engaging, and gets the audience involved. His goal is to encourage all people to reject Sin and Satan, and to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a fearless and radical way. He believes that every person is called to be a saint. He believes that this world is in need of an intense renewal. He believes that the renewal begins with you!

He believes that we do NOT have a vocations crisis or a morality crisis right now in America, but rather, we have a Holiness Crisis! What the world needs right now is more saints. Dan’s ministry experience is extensive. He served as a missionary for one year with NET Ministries. After NET, he returned to his home town of Columbus, Ohio and helped to form a dynamic college ministry at Ohio State University and Ohio Dominican University that is still striving today. While in college working towards degrees in Theology and Philosophy at Ohio Dominican University, Dan became a youth minister and quickly formed a powerful army of disciples for the Lord Jesus Christ. In 5 short years, Dan’s youth ministry programs have ministered to thousands of teens in the Columbus area. As he continues to serve the Lord as a youth minister in Columbus, he is also the program director and co-founder for two huge youth movements, Jesus Jams and Catholic Youth Summer Camp. Jesus Jams is a monthly youth movement that pulls over 500 teens each month. The focus of Jesus Jams is radical discipleship and vocational discernment. Catholic Youth Summer Camp is a high adventure youth camp aimed at drawling young people into the adventure of the Catholic faith. He has also spoken at a number of Diocesan Youth Rallies, and has led a great number of parish and school retreats.

It will bring them closer to Jesus in the Eucharist, and it will leave them starving to begin a daily prayer life! This talk is interactive and uses a lot of multi-media.

The Revolution of Holiness! This is not only a talk – it is a movement! This presentation will draw young people into the newest Catholic movement across America – The Revolution of Holiness. This revolution is about seeking holiness and seeking mission for the Kingdom of God. Every one of your teens will want to take action in their church, school, and community! This presentation is loaded with professional video clips, innovative ideas, and incredible inspiration!

Deal or No Deal: Catholic Edition – In Deal or No Deal Catholic Edition, our models are not dressed up in immodest dresses, but are wearing full religious habits! This is a multi-media presentation of Deal or No Deal where instead of playing for low money or high money, you play for virtue or vice. Highly interactive and engaging, it challenges youth to not take ‘deals’ in their life from Satan, the banker, and never to settle for mediocrity, but rather, to strive to sainthood! This presentation will motivate, inspire, and challenge your students!

The Cross of Christ – The life of a Christian is undeniably connected to the Cross, such that one cannot run from the cross. The cross teaches us our true purpose and meaning of life, it teaches us what love is, and it teaches us how to love. This talk uses my own journey of carrying an 80lbs cross 22 miles, showing video of the journey, and teaches people the lessons of love I have learn from Christ through this journey. This talk pushes people to love no matter what the cost! This talk can be adapted to speak to whatever you wish it to: vocations, reconciliation, eucharist, community building, dating relationships… really, it can go anywhere because the cross covers every aspect of our Christian life! It will call you deeper into holiness and shake up the way you think about life and love! 

Take Courage and Be A Man (Men’s Talk): This talk is designed to help build boys into men of God. It confronts head on the sins that all young men struggle within their purity, language, and action. It untwists the lies of machoism and American feminism. It paints the picture of a Christian man as a man of virtue, action, purity, and leadership. Men’s hearts will be changed and they will eagerly desire to be a man of God, not a man of this world. A woman’s talk from Dan’s wife, Amber Marie, can accompany this talk. The title of the talk is Authentic Womanhood.
