"Angels For Kids"

Travels from: Apollo Beach, FL

A witty, charismatic, down to earth motivational speaker, who excels at capturing and captivating audience attention, Margaret is committed to helping others rise above the sometimes less than tranquil circumstances that darken the paths of their life’s journey. Impassioned, she lifts the curtain on her devastating childhood spent in a revolving door arena of over ten Foster families most of which were more dysfunctional than her own. Additionally she speaks frankly barring no aspects of a hurtful truth regarding the numerous receiving homes and a traumatizing mental institution that were her ‘guardians’ during the Foster care hiatus.

Eventually homeless on the streets Margaret turned to God. Armed with faith and a love of the Lord, she trusted His willingness to intervene in her life. With prayer, Divine mercy and a tenacious will to overcome, she defeated her demons.

Victorious, Margaret is ready to say thank you, by giving back. Impassioned, she is eager to share her own personal “war-stories” and triumphs not only to make a difference in the world but more importantly to change the life-course of men, women and children who feel as if their days are spent running though mine fields.

Prior to assuming the role of advocate for abandoned and neglected children and teens in Foster care and beyond, and her Board position on the non-profit Angels for Foster Kids,  Margaret a volunteer guardian ad litem,  orchestrated a successful climb to success in the corporate world achieving the position of VP of Educational services for KForce. Afterwards as the CEO and Chairman of the Board for her own Training and Consulting Company, she added an entrepreneurial accomplishment to her already outstanding resume.

Margaret’s achievements did not stop here. Additional entrepreneurial endeavors lead her to the creating and designing of an upscale coffee house and wine bar which she opened to a church for their Sunday services and mission work. In collaboration with the City of Tampa, she participated in the redeveloping a commercial property to help revitalize and transform an area commonly defined as the shady part of town.

Eventually Margaret turned her companies into a Christian Ministry before the voice of God instructed her to liquidate everything and write a book. Thus was born, My God Box: Parable of the Incorrigible Child, the revelation of how an Ex Foster Child walked from the darkness of spiritual ignorance into the enlightenment of an amazing belief-- and hand in hand with her Savior shattered a mind-set that made her more of a victim than the devastating circumstances of her yesterday.

Indisputably Margaret brings astute perspectives plus a passionate eye witness commentary to any discussion involving “The Role of Faith in Crisis Management.” With her uncluttered, defining style, she enlightens, encourages and empowers audiences drawing on her inspiring interpretation of the power of faith as a ‘cure all’ in the treatment of 21 Century ‘ills.’

Margaret has been a regular contributor to on line and print magazines. A guest on Living the Life (CBN Network) as well as many other TV shows her words have inspired, empowered, encouraged and comforted.  She is interviewed and heard on radio shows across the nation and is completing the final touches on Wildflowers, her TV documentary on Foster Care, scheduled for airing in 2009.

Margaret’s plans also include the opportunity to host her own TV or Radio show. Goal oriented, the former “incorrigible child” turned child rights activist, plans to tread on new territory in her cause to draw attention to and iron out the kinks in the Foster Care System and in the lives of all who are fighting battles.

“I want to tell the world how opening my heart and mind to the message of God ultimately changed my life,” Margaret proclaims. “I want everyone to know how with the assistance and solidarity of God I quashed a self-defamatory attitude thus interrupting the injurious sequence of negativity that was destroying me. I want everyone to realize the miraculous healing power of faith. It was and is my salvation.” This is who Margaret Iucualno is—and this is her vision for all who seek serenity in life.
