"Living The Faith"
Travels from: Dayton, Ohio
Faith, Fitness &
Motivation For Life
Michael Walsh is a husband, father, motivational speaker, evangelist,
missionary, and fitness enthusiast. He and his wife, Amy, have two boys and a
girl.
Michael has seven years of experience as a youth minister in the
Archdiocese of Cincinnati where he started his speaking career, but its been
for the past four years that he has focused his efforts on answering God’s call
to spreading the Catholic faith to Catholics, practicing and non-practicing,
around the world. His engaging and motivating talks have inspired and
encouraged Catholics of all ages throughout the United States of America, Canada, Central
America and Singapore to live out their Catholic faith in
their every day lives.
Michael has spoke at and led many different retreats,
conferences, youth rallies, parish missions, schools, speaker series and more
events to preteens thru adults on a variety of topics and has had the honor in
speaking to groups as small and personal as 20 people to over 1,000 people at a
time. He enjoys being able to talk with the participants after the program and
is commended on what he does and his approach in doing it.
Bringing Michael out for your event is something your
participants will not forget! He takes our rich Catholic faith and applies it
to the audience’s every day life. No matter what the topic may be, Michael’s
goal when speaking at an event is to take the listeners on a journey of faith
and life and point them to Jesus Christ and His Holy, Apostolic Catholic
Church.
Michael on Faith and Fitness
“Do you
not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you
have from God, and that you are not your own? For you have been purchased at a
price. Therefore, glorify God in your body.”
1
Corinthians 6:19-20
Over the past few years Michael has seen how fitness and
good nutrition can be used to help us grow in our faith and overcome sin in our
lives. Michael is a Certified Conditioning Coach and Trainer and he uses that
knowledge to better equip people to live their lives for Christ in all that
they do.
“I have
found that the three things people say they do not have time for are the three
things that are essential to human living; faith, fitness and nutrition. You
don’t have to be a body builder or have the so-called ‘perfect body,’ but being
active, eating healthy and having a strong faith in Jesus Christ helps one to
not only take care of the body God gave us, but to discipline oneself, gain
energy, fight stress and overcome sins such as sloth, gluttony, pride, lust,
anger and many others. In the end, if one focuses on the body, soul and mind,
that person will become a better Christian, spouse, parent, son or daughter,
priest or nun. It will help us all to live out our vocations in life.” ---
Michael Walsh
Michael does not just speak on fitness and nutrition, but he
has found it to be an important part of strengthening his faith and he hopes he
can help you to discover the same.

Referrals
“If you are looking for a speaker who will fire up the people
in the audience, who will reach into the depths of their soul, who will
encourage them and inspire them into a stronger, deeper faith life, Michael
Walsh is the speaker for you.”
-- Brian Patrick, Host
of the Son Rise Morning Show on Sacred Heart Radio and EWTN Radio and Host of
EWTN’s Crossing the Goal
"Michael Walsh is more than a speaker, he’s an inspiration. He
communicates the light of Christ not only with his words, but with his creative
and energetic presence. His natural gift for storytelling intrigues his
listeners. His faith inspires those who encounter him to change their lives for
the better.”
-- Gina M. Loehr, Speaker and Author of Real Women, Real Saints,
Choosing Beauty: A 30-Day Spirtual Makeover for Women and The Four Teresas
Michael has been evangelizing and educating youth in the Salesian Youth
Movement for the past six years at youth rallies, mission trips and Boys and
Girls Clubs. I highly recommend him. Michael is so good as a youth minister
that he has trained other youth ministers in St. John Bosco’s style, spirit and
method. He has the gifts of friendliness, comedy, and down to earth simplicity
and the ability to share faith and values. Most importantly, Michael is 100%
Catholic and his preaching is totally doctrinally sound. The way he presents
the faith is also very attractive to the young. This combination makes
him an excellent evangelist. Michael is sound-morally and is spiritually
grounded. He is joyful, giving, and very much in love with Jesus and the
Church.
-- Father Steve Ryan, SDB – Provincial Councilor for Youth and Young
Adult Ministry and Director of Vocations for the Salesians of Don Bosco,
Eastern Province
Having taught religion at the high school level as a newly ordained
priest, I know first hand how difficult it can be to present the faith to
teenagers that is engaging, serious, catechetical and fun all at the same time.
I have now seen Michael present to several different groups on different
topics and his presentations manage to accomplish all that and much more.
Speaking to the teens afterwards, they are excited for the faith and have
that deep desire to live it out in all the wonder that is included in
Catholicism. Michael is a serious Catholic, whose love for Christ shines
through all that he does. His witness is so strong that he is one of the
first speakers that I contact whenever we are doing a program for teens.
-- Father Kyle Schnippel - Vocations Director, Archdiocese of
Cincinnati, Ohio
