Sean O’Hare is a young, dynamic and influential speaker on the topics of pro-life, Christian apologetics, business and philanthropy. As an Entrepreneur he is founder, chief operating officer and president for multiple business ventures. At age 18, O’Hare launched his first business, the contracting company SPO Enterprises, for which he received the 2003 East Coast Collegiate Entrepreneur of the Year Award. O’Hare later created the design/build firm L.A.R. Construction and its commercial branch, Angular Construction. The former executes residential projects; the latter services both corporate and restaurant entities, including O’Hare’s own restaurant business enterprises.
O’Hare also formed and continues to manage iThink Technologies, a business dedicated to excellence in energy management and integrated sub-systems in the upscale custom-home and commercial market. Most recently, O’Hare guided the company to incorporate energy efficient and green building technologies as a new venture, Sensible Energies.
Always dedicated to the pro-life movement, O’Hare decided to use his entrepreneurial mindset and apply it to promote the cause for life. In 2009, he launched LifeHQ.org, which seeks to use 21st century technology, media and messaging to promote, educate and inform others about life from conception to natural death.
On an extracurricular basis, O’Hare is privileged to serve on the board of the American Council of Trustees & Alumni (ACTA); Family Foundations International; Men’s Leadership Forum; Youth Leadership Foundation; Arlington Diocese Young Adult Ministry and Rescue A Million Foundation. O’Hare is a member of distinguished organizations Legatus and Knights of Columbus. In 2007, O’Hare accepted the proposal of U.S. Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings to participate in the first ever Summit for Higher Education.
O’Hare graduated magna cum laude from Rider University in 2003, where he played Division One Soccer and received the President’s Award. Upon graduation, O’Hare also was selected to deliver the commencement address.
