Andrea Thomas is a Cincinnati, Ohio native who left her hometown at the age of 18 to study music at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. Within her first semester as a college freshman, she auditioned and was casted for Veggietales Rockin Tour Live! 2006 tour and, as the lead, toured to 50 cities throughout the United States and Canada. This experience included being the media spokesperson on local television morning shows throughout the tour. It was during her travels that Andrea felt a new calling, and in the fall of 2006 she enrolled at Franciscan University near Pittsburgh where she finished her degree in Theology, Finance, and Marketing. Andrea’s passion for music was always present. This inspired in her the idea to start an all-women's acapella singing group at Franciscan University which performed regularly throughout her 3 years on campus. This group continues to have a profound presence today on campus. It was during this time that Andrea began writing her own music. In 2011, she debuted with multi-platinum, country music mega star, Collin Raye, on his first inspirational album, His Love Remains. During its first 6 months the album climbed to #1 on Amazon's list for inspiration music where it remains today. Andrea released her first album "Crying Out To You" on December 8, 2011.
Andrea travels and sings both solo and with Collin Raye at concerts and conferences throughout the United States. She currently balances being a Special Events Contractor with her music career. She has always considered her love for music and voice to be a gift from God, and above all else, desires to use this gift to glorify Him.
